Office Policies
Appointments & Consultations
Please call 978-927-6556 to schedule an appointment. New patients are always welcome and initial cosmetic consultations are $200.00 (Please note that this is non-refundable). Normal business hours vary according to the doctor's surgical schedule. However, every effort will be made to accommodate your schedule. After-hours and weekend appointments are available upon request, cleared by the physician.
For non-cosmetic, insurance covered visits, please make sure to bring your updated insurance card and co-pay to all initial and subsequent visits. Prior to your visit, please contact your primary care doctor and have referral sent to our office. Our office policy does not allow a patient to be seen by the physician without a referral in place.
Cancellations
If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with a least 48 hours notice. This courtesy on your part will make it possible to give your appointment to another patient.
Emergencies
Our office provides on-call service for emergencies, 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week. Call 978-927-6556. and Dr Patel will be contacted immediately through our answering service. In the event that Neither Dr. M. or J. Patel cannot be reached, please contact the Northeast Hospital operator at 978-922-3000 and they will page the covering plastic surgeon on call to assist you with your needs.
Financing
Most medical insurance plans will not usually cover cosmetic procedures. Our office is able to assist you with a financing program for elective medical procedures. Patients may be pre-approved for financing with a low-interest monthly payment plan through a local credit union. Our staff would be pleased to provide you with further details.

If you have medical questions which only the doctor can answer, a message will be taken and your medical file will be given to Dr Patel who will return your call as soon as possible. If your question is non-medical, a qualified staff member will be pleased to assist you.
